Well it looks like former Boston Red Sox manager, Terry Francona, will be managing the Cleveland Indians next year. This is the most exciting news for Cleveland since Drew Carey stopped telling everyone he ever spoke to that he was from there. Every promising manager that has ever gone to coach this team has pretty much been run through the ringer and thrown to the curb. Despite promising teams on paper, the Indians have been marred with injuries and lackluster performances from their star players. Terry emerged as the top candidated over interim manager Sandy Alomar, who took over upon Manny Acta being fired, and, from what Deadspin reports, Albert Belle who is most famous for elbowing Fernando Vina when he was fielding a ground ball in front of the former Indians outfielder. I think I can speak for everyone when I say I am very interested to see how drunk Chris Perez will be coming out of the bullpen now that Terry is his manager.
